2024 Yang Wood Dragon – Heaven Luck Forecasts

INTRODUCTION

When comes to yearly predictions, most Feng Shui Masters use Start-of-Spring time to construct a Bazi or Four Pillars Chart of the year to prediction the coming year’s events. Some Feng Shui Masters’ prediction use Qi Men Dun Jia (QMDJ), ZiweiDouShu, or I-Ching divination….

Different Feng Shui Masters use different methods.

I was taught to use the JiaZi (甲子) cycle or sexagenary cycle, also known as the Stems-and-Branches system. It is a cycle of sixty years or terms used for telling time in the old days.

Yearly predictions, there are three layers to look into. They are the:

1. Heaven Luck,

2. Earth Luck (or Feng Shui) and

3. Man luck (Animal Sign Luck)

To do so, the elements of the Heavenly Stem and Earthly Branch of the year are used.

Yearly predictions can be useful information for someone to make informed decisions. However, Honestly speaking, there is no 100% accuracy.

2024, in JiaZi cycle, it is the Yang Wood Dragon year.  

The year of the Yang Wood Dragon starts on the 4th February 2024. In general, the Heaven energy surfaces from the winter solstice, on the 22nd of December 2023. or Summer solstice in the South hemisphere.

OUTLOOK HEAVEN LUCK IN THE YEAR OF THE YANG WOOD DRAGON 2024

Heaven Luck predicts major world events, eyes catching issues, weather and natural disasters, Act of God. So people can well prepare for it. For example: people can increase their insurance premium in the areas where may affect them. Strengthen their roof tops…

In Chinese Astrology and Feng Shui, they all start from the Elements of the Heavenly Stem and the Earthly Branches.

The Heavenly Stem (HS) for 2024 is Jia (甲) and Jia is Yang Wood element.

YANG WOOD JIA (甲) represents big tall tree, the head, first, armour, leaders, stubbornness. Wood element is the liver and the arms and legs.

It combines with Ji (己). Ji is Yin Earth, and it is trust.

The Earthly Branch is Dragon (辰) Chen. It is an Earth element. Earth is the dominant element. There are hidden elements in the Dragon, they are the Wood and Water elements. Wood element enhances by the Water element and wood element from inside the Dragon.

Wood is very strong in 2024, particularly in February and March 2024

The Chen (辰) is also known as:

1. Water Storage.

2. Chen (辰) is one of the four Earth animals, represents believes, rules, systems, regulations and religious. In human body, it is the stomach, spleen, pancreas and digestive system.

3. The Chen(辰) is represented by the animal sign Dragon. That is why it is called the Year of the Dragon.

To be exact, the Stem and Branch in 2024 add up together making the year as YANG Wood Earth Dragon year.

In classical feng shui, the way of arranging the Heavenly Stem (HS) & Earthly Branch (EB), is placing the HS on top of the EB.

Jia (甲) is Yang Wood element on top.
Chen (辰) is Yang Earth element underneath.

The Melodic element for 2024, 2025 is FIRE. (甲辰乙巳佛燈火). FIRE element is entertainment industries, cooking, electricity, energy, gas, dynamite, explosive…..

In Feng Shui annual flying star, the Number #3 star comes to the Centre. The #3 star at the Central palace shows the most eye catching issue. Wood control Earth element, in the centre palace, It relates to earthquake, gossips, arguments, lawsuit…. stomach, spleen, pancreas and digestive system. The annual flying star is very much reconfirming the Earth element issues.

The number of Dragon producing water is only 1. It will be a dry and even drought year in 2024.

With the above data we can see these issues in the year of the Yang Wood Dragon 2024 with this photo.  Tree grows into a cave.

1. In the year of the Yang Wood Dragon year, the top level (Wood) and bottom level (Earth) are in controlling or conquering cycle. There are conflicts between the top and bottom level. It looks like that the top level will take advantage of the bottom level. Upper level power suppresses down.


2. There will be more rules, regulations and systems to suppress the grassroots.

3. In the Yang Wood Dragon year 2024, it is the Yang Wood element controls the Earth element. Earth element will be damaged. Earth Element is trust, believes, properties, religious….it brings in a lots of impacts. People lose faith.

4. In the Yang Wood Dragon year 2024, it is the Yang Wood element controls the Earth element. Earth element damaged. It can be disasters related to Earth element, house price, earthquake, landslide, collapse of buildings, mine incidents, volcano eruption. Yang is Strong and Yin is weak. 2024 is a Yang year.

5. 60 years ago, 1964, Yang Wood Dragon year, In March (Wood element month) a great magnitude 9.2 earthquake struck the southern part of the state in USA. This was the largest earthquake in United States’ history known as the Great Alaska Earthquake. Wood controls Earth element. Earth element is hurt.

6. Wood element is kindness. Earth element is trust. Upper level needs to show their kindness to people and at the same time build up their trust from the people.

7. Chen (辰) Dragon is a mythical animal, it can fly up to the heaven and dive deep into the sea. This mean the dragon year is very versatile and ever-changing.  October is the Xu (狗) Dog, month. It will be a clash, people lose faith. So be very careful.

8. Dragon is the storage,  it is best to store the wealth in a safe place, particularly during Oct 2024.

9. Dragon is the storage, water storage to be precise. Strong Yang Wood can break the Earth element. It is a sign of dam collapsing and reservoir bursts.

10. It can also be very wet and fire year. The water storage and fire storage are opened up.

11. Dragon is one of the earth element animal, it is about religious. 2024 there will be religious conflicts. Or issues cause by religious.

12. Chen (辰) Dragon is the stomach, digestive system in Chinese astrology, Stomach issues, it is related food poisoning.

13. Yang Wood Jia 甲, It also represents the nerve systems (The head, particularly), It brings stress to people. Pay attention to your diets and daily routines. Start your mediation today.
14. In this line of thinking, the head the world, the leaders, with the support of the Jia, Can be very domineering. They need to be flexible.

15. Chen (辰) Dragon and Xu (狗) Dog are in clash relationship. Rooster and Dog sectors are the Europe area. Europe will experience unease and unstable. If you have business there, make sure you plan ahead.
16. In the year of the Yang Wood Dragon,  the annual flying star #3 which is wood element flies to the centre palace. Centre is Earth element. Wood conquers Earth. It is another sign of Earth / stomach problem.

17. The number #3 Wood control Earth element, in the centre palace, It relates to gossips, arguments, lawsuit…. stomach, spleen, pancreas and digestive system. The annual flying star is very much reconfirming the Earth element issues. It is aligned with the Stem and Branch elements in 2024.

YANG WOOD JIA(甲) ELEMENT ON DRAGON 2024 SHARES MARKET

JIA(甲) Yang Wood element congers the Dragon, What I conquer is wealth. The first half of the year, February to August the share market will be gradually going into the positive direction, but getting lower or downward direction from second half of the year, As there will be a clash in October.

Fire Element represents flourishing. The Fire elements years are coming up in 2025,2026,2027.

Be careful, If you are in Share market speculating, please pay extra attention to these four months, particularly high risk trading individual.

Be very careful in April, July, October 2024 and January in 2025. Due to the Solar and Lunar calculation difference, be informed that.

April means from 4th April – 5th May 2024

July means from 6th July – 7th August 2024

October means from 8th Oct. – 7th November, 2024.

January 2025 means from 5th January – 4th February 2025


THE MELODIC ELEMENT 2024 & 2025 IS FIRE甲辰乙巳佛燈火(Buddha Lamp Fire)

The Melodic element is “Buddha Lamp Fire” (佛燈火) for 2024, 2025. The Melodic element stays the same for every two years.

From melodic element point of view, “Buddha Lamp Fire” relates to energy such as gas, electricity, crude oil, renewable energy, energy storage, battery.

Wood produces Fire. Fire is the output of Wood, 2024,2025. So in the next two years, there will some major inventions or improvements relate to energy sector or X-ray instruments for medical field.

ANNUAL FLYING STAR NUMBER #3 FLIES TO THE CENTER

The annual Feng Shui flying star number 3 flies to the centre palace.

The flying star #3 is Wood element. It represents wood controlling Earth (centre palace) earthquake, gossips, arguments, lawsuit…. stomach, spleen, pancreas and digestive system issues can show up in the year of the Yang Wood Dragon.

YEAR OF THE YANG WOOD DRAGON HAS ONLY 1 DRAGON PRODUCE WATER

The number of Dragon producing water is 1. It will be very uneven rainfall distribution. It will be dry in some areas, even drought. Then in some areas, there will be a lot water, even flooding.


CONCLUSION

In short, in the Yang Wood Dragon year, the yearly elements (Wood & Earth element), the melodic element (Fire), the annual flying stars Qi, Wood at the centre (Earth). They are producing very much the same outcomes.

Heaven Luck cycle is out of our control. We cannot control it. What we can do is to prepare ourselves, set up and activate the good yearly feng shui qi for the house we live in and office we work in.

Earth Luck is about the annual Feng Shui Qi or energy and the flying stars visiting a location. This location can be a home, a shop, or an office.

Normally, the new Feng Shui Qi starts on the 4th of February. Some special Feng Shui Qi starts at the winter/Summer (South Hemisphere) Solstice on the 22nd of December each year.

Each year, there are Feng Shui Sheng Qi (生氣 good energy) and Sha Qi (煞氣 bad energy) visiting different sectors of a premises.

Feng Shui Earth Luck is to deal with these yearly Feng Shui energies.

We must first mitigate the Feng Shui Sha Qi (Bad Energy). Then, we activate the Sheng Qi where possible.

Please note: The yearly energy is just one of the many feng shui layers. It does not dictate or override the natal Feng Shui settings. The annual energy is like a guest visiting your home once a year. This year, they bring good gifts and another year, they may cause trouble. Your guests coming and going does not alter the original settings of your home. While your guest is staying, you can still lose money, you can still not get a promotion, and you can still not get pregnant.

To have good Feng Shui in your home to bring in good fortune and good luck, the Natal layers must be addressed.

As each house has its configurations, the following is just a guide only.

If you have been following my Feng Shui Earth Luck articles from the past years, you may know that each year, there are three big Sha Qi and three lucky Sheng Qi or stars flying around regardless of the facing and sitting of the house or an office. Some years, Sha Qi overlaps and creates bigger impacts. Of course, Sheng Qi overlaps in some years, too, and brings double goodness.

A couple of medium Sha Qi are also rotating each year in the house or office.

I will show you some Feng Shui methods to deal with these Feng Shui Sha Qi and Sheng Qi in the year of the Dragon.

We need to know where these Sheng Qi and Sha Qi are located.  

1. The Tai Sui (Grand Duke) in the year of the Dragon, is located in the east-southeast sector or Chen (辰) Dragon sector in the Feng Shui compass. It is between 112.5° – 127.5°. It measures from the center of the house.  
Please note: All sectors and areas mentioned below are measured from the center of the house or your office.

2. The San Sha (三煞the 3-killings) arrives in the South. It covers a big area. The San Sha is really powerful, and it is unfavorable. It covers from 135°- 225°.

3. The Five Yellow Sha lands at the West. (The Dui 兌Gua 247.5° – 292.5°)

4. The power, travelling and promotion star number 6 flies to Northeast. (The Gen艮 Gua 22.5°- 67.5°)

5. The money and prosperity star number 8 is located at the North sector (Kan 坎 Gua 375.5°-22.5°)

6. The romance, happiness star number 9 comes to Southwest  (Kun 坤 Gua 202.5°-247.5°)

7. The Wu Ji Sha (戊己煞) is located at the Southeast, the Chen 辰(Dragon 112.5°-127.5° and Si巳(Snake 142.5°- 157.5°). (It overlaps with the TaiSui. It causes double harms if incorrectly disturbed.)

8. The Sui Poh Sha(歲破) Is located on the opposite side of the Tai Sui Chen (辰) Dragon, the Xu 狗 Dog 292.5°-307.5°.

Below is the Earth Luck or Feng Shui diagram for 2024. It is different from a normal map.

In this Feng Shui map, the top is south direction and the bottom is north, the left is east and right is the west.

TAKING CARE OF THE FENG SHUI SHA QI

A classical Feng Shui saying: “大煞宜避, 中煞可制, 小煞不理!”

The English translation to this saying:  “Avoid the big Sha Qi. Cure the medium Sha Qi. Ignore the tiny Sha Qi.”

The number one rule to deal with Sha Qi is: “Respect them DO NOT disturb them or activate them in their respectively areas”.

Do not DISTURB the Sha Qi areas or sectors. avoid digging ground or renovating the sectors inside and outside of your house, is prohibited. (Unless you do not living in the house when your house is being renovated.)

Yearly Sha Qi is like a sleeping tiger. It is fine without any disturbance. With strong vibration, disturbance, the tiger will be wakening up from sleep and if you are nearby, the tiger will hurt you.


THE DRAGON SECTOR HAS THE TAI SUI

Some masters translate “Tai Sui” as “The Grand Duke” or “The Yearly King.” They refer to the same thing and direction.

Tai Sui can be double good or double bad depends on the techniques applied to activate it and the house facing direction.

Measuring from the centre of the house, the Tai Sui locates at the East Southeast sector (辰112.50° to 127.50°) Dragon area in the year of the Yang Wood Dragon. It is the yearly King sector. In traditional, in Feng Shui, there is a way to activate the Tai Sui in order to make the yearly King to be your friend and he can help achieving your goal quicker if the house or office Feng Shui settings support this.

You need to engage a classically trained professional Feng Shui Master to help to achieve it. Don’t do it yourself. If incorrect activated, it brings double harm.

But first of all, to be safe, we must respect the Tai Sui. Please do not disturb the Tai Sui sector of the year.

In your house or office, if the main entrance locates at the East Southeast Chen 辰 Dragon sector, Please don’t disturb the area both inside and outside, such as digging Earth, drilling. If activated, it may bring issues to the stomach and digestive system, neck and the shoulders.

The Dragon sector is located within the Xuen Gua area (巽卦). It is the elder daughter’s sector or related female age between 41 to 60 years old. Tai Sui in Xuen gua area relates to wood element, gall bladder, liver, neck, throats….

If the main entrance of your house or office is located at the Chen 辰 Dragon sector, please keep this Tai Sui area as quiet as possible. Don’t slam the door. Make sure opening and closing the door gently at all time. This non-disturbance rule applies to all the Sha Qi sectors too.


To reduce the impact of the Tai Sui in the year of the Dragon, (4 Feb 2024 – 3 Feb 2025), place a round metal object at the Chen 辰 Dragon sector. Round metal object can be a metal vase, metal plate or round metal cylinder.

The Xuen Gua sector also has the annual flying star number #2 visiting.

The number #2 annual star relates health issue. So need to take care of your legs, foot, gall bladder, liver, spleen or hair lose issue.

THE 3-KILLING SHA QI AT SOUTH

In 2024 the year of the of Dragon, The San Sha 三煞 3-killings, three lots of Sha Qi, lands at the South sector or Li 離 Gua.

The Li 離 Gua (135°- 225°) area, It covers the whole 90 degrees.

The 3-killings or San Sha Qi represents lawsuits, career problems, gossips, theft, robbery and arguments.

The Li Gua is the middle daughter’s sector. It represents the fire element system of our body, such as eyes, hearts, the heads and small intestine.

Ladies between 21 to 40 years old or any person born in the year of the Horse (1942, 1954, 1966, 1978, 1990, 2002…) and Yang Fire 丙or Ying fire 丁year (last digit of the year is 6 or 7) born person needs to take care the above mentioned areas if the door is located at the South sector of the house.

Do not disturb the 3-Killings area. Keep the Three-Killings area as quiet as possible.

To minimise the bad feng shui effects of the Three-Killings Sha in your house or office, in the South sector place a round black vase fills with 80% full of clear water. Change the water every 2-3 weeks or when you see a layer of grease forms on the surface.


THE 5-YELLOW SHA COMES TO THE WEST THE DUI兌GUA

The 5-Yellow Sha represents misfortune, obstacles and sickness. It comes to the DUI 兌 Gua (247.5° – 292.5°) area.

The DUI Gua belongs to the youngest daughter, lasses under 20 years old.

If your main entrance is located at this sector, make sure you close and open it gently. If this sector is activated, it bring misfortune, obstacles and sickness. Pay attention to the respiratory system, bone, lung and large intestine.

To reduce the effect of the 5-Yellow Sha Qi, at the DUI (West) sector of your house, place a round shape, black vase fills with 80% full of water. (Same treatment as the South, the 3 Sha sector)

ACTIVATE THE FAVOURABLE ANNUAL STARS

MONEY & PROSPERITY STAR #8 IN NORTH

The annual flying star #8 represents wealth and prosperity is located at North sector, the 坎KAN Gua (375.5°-22.5°) area of the house in 2024.

If your main door is at the north sector, please use this door more often, as your wealth in 2024 will be fantastic.


To bring in more wealth, you can place a water feature or fish tank to further activate the area.


THE ROMANCE STAR #9 IN SOUTHWEST

The annual flying star number #9 means romance and happy events such as weddings, pregnancy or give birth is coming to the Southwest sector, the KUN 坤 Gua (202.5°-247.5°) of the house.


The annual flying star #9 can increase “people luck” or networking. If the KUN area is activated correctly, it brings opportunities for you to meet more people. It is a very good star for the singles too.

If uses the #9 star correctly, it is a good star for increasing “People Luck”. On the other side, it may brings a third person into your marriage life. Be careful, be warned.

If there is a door at the KUN area, it is automatically activated. If there is no door, depending on the space of the area at the sector, you can activate the sector by placing a mini humidifier, dehumidifier, a tall floor lamp, turn on the lamp most of the time.

THE POWER AND PROMOTION STAR NUMBER #6

The Power Star #6 also is known as the promotion and travelling star, the annual star #6 comes to the Northeast, GEN 艮 Gua (22.5°-67.5°) of the house.

Activate this star #6, it brings promotion, power and travelling. Remember, if a door locates at Northeast sector, you do not need to do anything, it is activated. If there is no door, but there is windows, you can open the window to receive the number flying star number 6 qi.


SUI POH(歲破) AND WU JI SHA戊己

The Sui Poh Sha is opposite to the Tai Sui sector. It is located at Xu (狗) Dog sector 292.5°-307.5° in the west northwest sector. Tai Sui or Sui Poh is disturbed, it being health issues relates to heart and digestive system.

The Wu Ji Sha (戊己煞) is located at the Southeast, the Chen (辰)Dragon 112.5°-127.5°and Si(巳) Snake 142.5°- 157.5°.

The Wu Sha (戊煞) overlaps with the TaiSui. It will cause double harm if incorrectly disturbed.

It brings health issues such as digestive, stomach or neck, particularly someone born in the year of the Dragon (1940, 1952, 1964, 1976, 1988, 2000).


CONCLUSION FENG SHUI EARTH LUCK 2024

The above information sums up the important areas of a house or an office. As each house and office is different. The occupants in that house have different animal signs. There are lots can be done to activate the good energy specifically for a particular person.
